JK-GEAR was founded to serve 2007+ Jeep Wrangler JK owners just like us. We know the frustration encountered when searching for products and ideas for our current and previous vehicles. We spent way too much time on general Jeep sites looking for products using those annoying vehicle part locator drop downs just to find all of the same boring products as the last site offered.

We have been owners and enthusiasts of Jeep and Dodge vehicles since the mid-80's and are thrilled with some of the latest offerings from our favorite manufacturer.

Assuming that you own and are looking to modify,customize, and/or accessorize your 2007-up Jeep Wrangler JK, why would you want to search through parts for CJ's, TJ's, LJ's, YJ's, etc. The focus of this site is to offer only products and solutions that pertain to 2007-up Jeep Wranglers. This includes Rubicons, Sahara's, X-models, and any other variation of the JK chassis that is or becomes available.. There will also be support for future generation Wranglers when they hit the showrooms.

We also cover most categories as many JK owners tend to modify alot of different aspects of their vehicle. Although our focus will be on suspension, drivetrain, and armor as these are the most important parts to upgrade on the JK platform, we will also offer items for engine performance, vehicle recovery, lighting, and other modifications to make your JK more useful or just stand out. While we cannot offer everything from every manufacturer you can rest assured that we will be offering cutting edge products from proven manufacturers. We used the above philosophy to start 8LUG Truck Gear (our sister site) back in 2009 as we are also enthusiasts of the 2003-up Dodge Ram HD truck platform. Our customers quickly appreciated the focus on the vehicle that they owned and the knowledge that we had about it. These trucks share some of the same solid design ideas that make the JK a great vehicle. They utilize a 5 link coil suspension in the front along with straight axles and are also available in a Rubicon-like package called the Power Wagon which comes factory with 32" tires, additional suspension height, 12k Warn winch, 4.56 gears with electric lockers, and an electric disconnect sway bar.
